Scripture is not read once and put away; it is read again and again. The two sites here line up the original and its translations verse by verse and add pronunciation so you can read aloud. They do not teach or promote any doctrine; they only make the text itself easier to read.

Concepts worth knowing

Which texts are included

The Bible pairs the public-domain Korean Revised Version with the King James Version (KJV, 1611), verse by verse, with Russian, French and Arabic versions to compare. The Quran uses the Arabic text from the Tanzil project with an unofficial Korean and English meaning translation made afresh from the Arabic by this site.

Listen, read aloud, memorize

Both sites offer sequential audio of the original and the translation, A–B loops for a single passage, and spaced-repetition memory cards that ask again just as you are about to forget. English words and the Arabic text carry Hangul pronunciation so Korean speakers can read aloud.

A translation is one reading

The same verse uses different words in different versions. For the Quran in particular, only the Arabic is generally regarded as the Quran itself, and renderings in other languages are called meaning translations. For a verse whose sense matters, read the original and several translations together.

Key terms
